Regal Beloit do Brasil Motores Marathon believes in the trade fair as an opportunity to promote the brand and develop new businesses

Caxias do Sul/RS – With an eye on the signs of better times ahead for Brazil’s economy, Regal Beloit do Brasil – Motores Marathon, with manufacturing plant in Caxias do Sul, will for the first time participate in Mercopar, to take place from October 4 to 7. The company produces motors for a wide range of activities, including special equipment for specific purposes, on request, with power up to 2,400 kVA.

As of 2013, the company started supplying the domestic market, as until then the focus was almost exclusively on the United States. “This is one of the reasons we decided to invest in Mercopar, promoting our brand and motors. We are ready to meet the needs of local industry, with three-phase and single-phase electric motors for motor pumps and motor brakes, among others. This trade fair is a true reference in industrial subcontracting, where we can receive specific visitors who identify with our sector”, says Commercial Director José Valdir Araújo. For him the economy already shows signs of recovery. “Many stagnant businesses should soon start to pick up again with full force. We want to be ready for when this moment comes”, Araújo adds.

The 25th edition of South America’s Industrial Innovation and Subcontracting Trade Fair will be held between October 4 and 7 in Caxias do Sul. Latin America’s largest event on industrial innovation and subcontracting, Mercopar brings together national and international companies, fostering integration and competitiveness of these markets and allowing micro and small enterprises to take part in the supply chain of large business groups. There will be four days of opportunities for establishing contacts, prospecting businesses, identifying trends and gathering information about the areas of industrial automation, rubber, electro-electronics, energy and environment, metalworking, materials handling and storage, plastics and industrial services.

Mercopar is promoted by SEBRAE/RS (Brazilian Support Service for Micro and Small Enterprises in Rio Grande do Sul) and Hannover Fairs Sulamerica, a Deutsche Messe AG company. The event already has confirmed exhibitors from Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Paraná, São Paulo, Argentina and China.
