A collective stand will bring together companies from the Serra Gaúcha

Caxias do Sul/RS – To conduct business, advertise products and services and assess the sector’s reality, all with a technical advice from SEBRAE/RS. The 24th edition of Mercopar, which takes place October 6-9 in Caxias do Sul, aims at providing a positive scenario for the opportunities in several sectors of the economy. Therefore, the Metal-Mechanic and Automotive Local Productive Assemble of the Serra Gaucha (APL MMeA) will again be part of the fair with a shared stand, which will host about ten companies of the collective. The experience first held last year was evaluated as positive, and the goal for this year is to repeat the results.

In charge of the organization of collective space, the Serra Gaucha Regional Management of SEBRAE/RS in the coming days, in accordance with established criteria, will define which companies have the opportunity to participate of Mercopar 2015. “The collective articulation by the entities that make up the APL MMeA has been important to offer this benefit to more companies. Thanks to this sum of efforts, participation costs are reduced, which is a deciding factor for businessmen to opt for attendance at the event,” explains SEBRAE/RS Project Manager Taisson Toigo. In 2014, visitation of the collective stand was considered excellent. “We are close to the place where the Business Rounds took place, which influenced considerably in the flow of visitors,” adds Toigo.

The Metal-Mechanic and Automotive Local Productive Assemble aims at developing companies in the metal-mechanic and automotive segment of the Serra Gaucha. Through research and projects, decisive actions are promoted in order to meet the interests and needs of the production chain in areas such as trade, environment, innovation and technology transfer. The cities that comprise the project are Bento Gonçalves, Carlos Barbosa, Caxias do Sul, Cotiporã, Fagundes Varela, Farroupilha, Flores da Cunha, Garibaldi, Nova Prata, Nova Roma do Sul, São Marcos, Vacaria, Vale Real, Veranópolis, Vila Flores and Vista Alegre do Prata.

Mercopar will be held at the Festa da Uva Center for Fairs and Events in the Serra Gaucha, with exhibitors from several Brazilian states. The event is renowned as the most important in the area of industrial ??innovation and outsourcing in Latin America, involving the fields of industrial automation, rubber, electric and electronic products, energy and the environment, metal-mechanic, material handling and storage, plastic and industrial services.
